The Story Behind a Simple Idea Changing How We Enjoy Wine
Wine is a ritual. The uncorking, the pour, the first sip—it’s all part of the experience.
But for too long, one small problem has been overlooked: the drip. That rogue drop of wine that stains tablecloths, glasses, and sometimes even your clothes.
At Dripless, we set out to fix that once and for all.
And now, after months of development, testing, and refining, Dripless has officially arrived in Yorkshire—our home turf and the first region to experience a better way of enjoying wine.
🍷 The Spark Behind Dripless
It started with a ski holiday. My father, born and raised in Yorkshire was in the French Alps skiing with his friends and one night they went out for dinner and came across something they will never forget.
At a wine bar, cosying away from the snow outside, they were enjoying the food and the drinks when the waiter brought over something so small yet powerful.
He brought over a custom wine disc pourer with the wine bars branding on it. He explained how it worked, how it helped stop the wine from spilling but more importantly, he gave each of my Dad’s friends one to take home.
Having never seen these in any wine bars or restaurants in England, they loved it.
They took them home, re-used them and every time they opened a bottle of wine at home, they remembered the wine bar that went the extra mile.
Then my Dad told me all about it, I used it and loved it.
I thought “This wine bar made such an impression on this group with such an affordable thing as a wine disc. Why?”
Then I realised it’s not just a disc - it’s a reminder of that brand.
As wine lovers, we knew there had to be a smarter, more elegant solution. The answer came in the form of a sleek, reusable disc—precision-cut, easy to slip into any bottle neck, and designed to stop wine drips in their tracks.
Our mission was never just to “fix a drip.” It was to elevate the entire wine experience for everyone from casual drinkers to top sommeliers.

Yorkshire isn’t just where we’re from—it’s where we believe innovation meets tradition.
With some of the UK’s best wine bars, Michelin-starred restaurants, and passionate hospitality venues, it was the natural choice to launch.
We’re proud to have the opportunity to help Dripless discs get into the best venues across Yorkshire, helping sommeliers, bartenders, and wine enthusiasts pour perfectly, every time.
As a fellow Yorkshireman, I know what we like and the venues that go the extra mile are always the ones we go back to and tell our friends about.
